SPEAKER: Krista Boryskavich, Counsel, Winnipeg Humane Society

For the first time since its creation in 1894, the Winnipeg Humane Society (WHS) has its own in-house counsel. Please join WHS counsel, Krista Boryskavich, as she discusses relevant animal law issues and the WHS's law reform priorities. This session will touch on strengthening The Animal Care Act in relation to backyard breeding and pet-friendly housing initiatives in relation to The Residential Tenancies Act, among other matters.
