TOPIC: Trust Issues: Variation and Early Termination in Manitoba
SPEAKER: Steve Falkingham, D'Arcy & Deacon LLP
This session will review the present state of variation and early termination of trusts under section 59 of The Trustee Act (Manitoba), including a brief history of trust variation, the removal and replacement of the Rule in Saunders v Vautier in Manitoba and a comparative analysis of the approach taken in other provinces.
