NOTICE OF ZOOM MEETING
Bring a Buddy Months - In April and May 2022 consider bringing a non-member buddy to a Section Meeting. Sections provide opportunities for lawyers to further their professional education and to keep ahead of current developments within the profession. The MBA wants to show non-members what they're missing!!

TOPIC: Mediation and JADR in Estate Matters
SPEAKERS: The Honourable Mr. Justice Ted Bock
Harvey Secter, C.M., O.M.
Join a prestigious panel of Mr. Justice Ted Bock, and former University of Manitoba Chancellor and Robson Hall Dean Harvey Secter, C.M., O.M. in discussing elements of JADR and alternative dispute resolution in estate matters. Topics will include various ADR methodologies and how they can be used to resolve disputes regarding estates, as well as the JADR system and how to best use it in resolving estate litigation.
Please RSVP (PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED) to the Manitoba Bar Association online (link above). The link to join the meeting will be sent out the morning of the meeting.
Attendance at this MBA Section meeting can be applied towards your Law Society of Manitoba’s Continuing Professional Development requirement for a maximum of 1.5 hours.
At approximately 9:30am on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 an email will be sent from the MBA advising you of the link that you will click on to join the Zoom video conference meeting. So it will be important to register before 5:00pm on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.
